Aquarium & Floating Plants

How long does shipping take?

Most live-item orders ship Mon–Thu. USPS Priority typically arrives in 2–3 business days. You’ll receive tracking by email.

My floating plants melted—are they dead?

Some melt is normal after transit. Provide gentle light, stable water (no sudden parameter swings), and minimal surface agitation. Most bounce back within 3–7 days.

Do you treat plants for pests?

We grow/handle clean stock, but snails or other harmless hitchhikers can occur. Rinse or quarantine if you prefer a pest-free tank.

Live Food Cultures

What if a culture looks inactive on arrival?

Many cultures recover within 24–48 hours after being warmed to room temp and fed. If you still have concerns, contact us within 2 hours of delivery with photos.

How fast should I restart/backup a culture?

We suggest starting a backup within 1–2 weeks for best consistency, especially for microworms and grindal/white worms.

Isopods (Bioactive & Collector)

What humidity do isopods need?

Ranges by species: many Porcellio prefer drier with a moist refuge; Armadillidium moderate; Cubaris higher humidity with good airflow. See individual care notes on each product.

There’s mold in my enclosure—what do I do?

Increase ventilation slightly, add springtails if desired, and remove obvious moldy chunks. Small amounts usually clear on their own.

Are these good as a clean-up crew for dart frogs or reptiles?

Yes—dwarf species (e.g., Trichorhina tomentosa) are popular in vivariums. Match species to humidity and temperature of your setup.

Which shipping should I choose for live items?

Use USPS Priority or faster for live plants, cultures, and isopods. Economy services may risk live arrival during extreme temps.

What if my order has an issue?

Please review our Live Arrival Guarantee and contact us within 2 hours of delivery with photos. We’ll make it right with replacement or store credit when eligible.

Where do I enter discount codes?

On the checkout page, there’s a “Discount code” field. Enter your code then click apply.

Do you accept returns?

Live goods aren’t returnable, but we stand behind our Live Arrival Guarantee. Non-perishable items follow our standard refund policy.
