Assassin Snails – 3 Pack | Live Freshwater Pest Snail Control

Help manage unwanted aquarium snails with this 3-pack of live Assassin Snails (Anentome helena, also known as Clea helena). Their pointed shells feature yellow and dark brown bands, adding striking detail to your freshwater aquarium.

Assassin Snails hunt small snails, including bladder, ramshorn, and Malaysian trumpet snails. They can help reduce populations over time, alongside sensible feeding and regular tank maintenance.

What’s Included

• 3 live Assassin Snails
• Size and shell patterns vary naturally
• Adult size of approximately 1 inch

Care Needs

• Care level: Easy with suitable conditions
• Temperature: 70–80°F
• pH: 7.2–8.0
• Water: Moderately hard to hard freshwater
• Setup: Fully cycled, filtered aquarium with sand or fine gravel for burrowing

Feeding

Assassin Snails are carnivores. When small snails are scarce, offer sinking protein-rich pellets, thawed bloodworms, or other suitable meaty foods. Continue feeding after the pest snail population declines.

Tankmate Compatibility

Safe with aquarium plants and generally compatible with peaceful fish.

Do not keep with Mystery Snails, Nerite Snails, or other snails you want to protect. Even larger snails can be attacked. Use caution in shrimp colonies and breeding tanks, where vulnerable shrimp, eggs, or newly hatched fry may be at risk.
