Planting Instructions

Remove the plant from its pot and gently rinse away the growing material. Separate the stems and plant them individually about 1–2 inches apart. Trim the tops as needed and replant healthy cuttings to create a fuller group.

Cardinal Plant is often grown above water before sale, where its leaves may appear darker green with purple undersides. These original leaves may change or shed after planting as the plant develops new light-green submerged growth.

Live plants may vary naturally in height, fullness and color. Minor leaf loss or melting can occur after shipping while the plant adjusts to aquarium conditions.
