PLANTING
Gently place the roots into your aquarium substrate, keeping the crown—the point where the leaves meet the roots—at or slightly above the substrate surface. Leave space between plants for future growth.

Cryptocoryne may shed some leaves after shipping or moving into a new aquarium. This adjustment is commonly called “crypt melt” and does not necessarily mean the plant has died. Remove deteriorating leaves and leave healthy roots and crowns planted so new growth can develop.

COLOR & APPEARANCE
Leaf color depends on lighting, nutrients, and growing conditions. Bronze and red crypts may display a mix of green, brown, bronze, and reddish tones.
